A Hack for Searching Flickr Photos by Date While Waiting for Camera Roll to Come Back

I am not technically gifted. I write a crochet blog, and don’t really understand the tools I use. I accomplish this by following a series of proscribed steps, and more often than not, I manage to get things done, but when I can’t get things done, I find it enormously frustrating because I have no clue how to fix it, so I usually handle those moments by crying.
It’s been over a year now since SmugMug acquired Flickr, and at first is was fine. There was no difference to me the user, but the past few months, a feature called “Camera Roll” disappeared and was replaced with this message:
I am terrible about tagging my photos, and Camera Roll is a feature I had come to rely on because it allowed me to quickly navigate my photos by the date they had been taken.
Days were grouped into months, which were then grouped into years. If I wanted to look at photos I had taken in June of 2010, I was just four clicks away from where I wanted to be.
