Having grown up in the area near where the East Area rapist did many of his crimes, and given that law enforcement did not manage to get him, currently, I have very few qualms about it at this time.

Very hard to have sympathy for a man like Joseph Deangelo who is now documented to have committed hundreds and possibly thousands of crimes with little interference from law enforcement.

He was allowed to have a family, live his life, and disrupt the lives of literally hundreds of other people.

Maybe as they solve these crimes they will learn how to create better profiles of the criminals so that they are caught earlier in their criminal careers and don’t get to ravage the lives of so many.
