I am currently working to help a cousin of mine who was adopted out of our shared biological family find the truth of who she is.

It is a needlessly treacherous path with people lying from all sides.

Through DNA we have now pretty much figured out who her father is, but given that her biological mother (a first cousin of mine) won't talk and her biological father is dead (and his closer biological family may not know she exists), we are having to figure out who to talk to and how.

All to get at a very basic piece of information: who am I and where do I come from.
