I see it as the first step in a process.

For too long this behavior has been allowed to go unpunshied, and while it is still hit or miss there are at least some hits.

I know a number of women who were raped and never have bothered to file a report of any kind, because why would you? If you didn't know your attacker, police barely bothered to investigate, and if you did know your attacker, the question would be "How did you let this happen to you?"

I would hope that women who have been raped are more comfortable speaking up about it now that they see even powerful men can be held to account.
